Our research-backed Guides, Tools, and curated External Resources are created for you to use as-needed in your support of one or more Skysthelimit.org Entrepreneur. Our Entrepreneurs also have access to these resources, but it may be helpful for volunteers to review them too.
Guides are informational resources that tell you how to do something. Some of our guides relate to our program, while others cover more general business concepts. We even have industry specific guides that offer advice on specific types of businesses.
This guide will help you understand the purpose of an Intro Meeting and how to start booking them. It will also tell you how to prep for your meeting so you that you can start recruiting the right supporters to help you build your business!
This guide will help you communicate with supporters after your Intro Meeting. Whether it went well or not, a follow-up is always a good idea!
Like the start most relationships, connecting with a mentor is not something that happens overnight. To find a good mentor or advisor, you’ll first need to get to know each other (at least a little) and then, if it’s a good fit, you can lock it down and determine the relationship.
While guides tell you how to do something, tools show you how. Our tools are interactive and created for you to use to complete specific steps in starting or growing your business. Most are in the form of Google Slides, so feel free to go to the original Slides and click on “Make a Copy” to create an editable version of any Tool.
The external resources listed here have been vetted and curated by the Skysthelimit Program Team. These are some of our favorite, go-to websites and applications for entrepreneurship.
Please keep in mind: Although we try to include only free or very low-cost options and we update this list often, we cannot always guarantee the accuracy of this list because these tools are all created by third-parties.
