40/40/20 In Practice

When my company started really growing, I didn’t have any help in my house at all. I had the upkeep of my daily life, I had a one year old and a three year old, and I had my house. So I had to prioritize.

Time Allocation for Entrepreneurs

You may recall that at Skysthelimit.org, we believe in the 40/40/20 Rule. Simply put, it is a simple framework on how to spend your time as an entrepreneur.

We recommend spending 40% of your time on developing and refining your product or service, 40% of your time on selling and marketing said product or service, and 20% of your time on internal operations and meeting with your team and advisers. Following this framework helps you to save your limited time for productive activities.
